This book is an excellent value for planning your trip to Iceland. It organizes your trip and saves you time and money. I was shocked to see how much of a disappointment the top rated place for travel in Iceland is. I'm glad the author made me aware; I could have wasted a lot of money. If you're planning a trip to Iceland this book is a great value for you. Save yourself money in the long run by purchasing Brigg's book.
What I love about this book and the author's style is how real they are. They are honest and forthcoming with placed to skip. I also enjoy how the author broke this book down into a mock itinerary, so you could follow it if you wish, and make sure your time is planned out perfectly (and ensuring you do not miss any "hot spots")
I've been wanting to go for a trip in Iceland, but struggled to organize it because of my crazy busy schedule. This book was really amazing because it allowed me to plan my trip and prepare for it very easily. I already bought tickets and can't till I fly to the Iceland!

The five-star reviews must have been written by the author's friends. The writing is extremely sloppy, with missing words, poor grammar and misspellings. I don't know where the author is from, but it doesn't sound like English is his first language. Examples: "If both of the above conditions are favorable there is a high chance you will be experience the magic of northern lights.""In summer special discount passes are issued which enables you to around the entire ring road."More annoying is that after naming the Blue Lagoon a tourist trap to be avoided, it's later listed as a top thing to do in Reykjavik. Overall, I didn't see anything here I couldn't get from the most basic Internet research.This was the first Iceland travel guide I downloaded, but sadly, it won't be my last.
